Yasamine received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Dubuque. Prior to her time at Montecatini, Yasamine practiced as a Medicine PA at a women’s residential facility for substance use disorders, where co-occurring eating disorders were prevalent. She has presented on incorporating Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in residential behavioral health settings at statewide conferences, and is X-waivered for prescribing Buprenorphine.
As a psych PA at Montecatini, Yasamine focuses on a non-judgmental approach to meet patients where they are at on their journey to recovery, and utilize appropriate psychiatric medications to be used in conjunction with psychotherapy. Born and raised in Southern California, Yasamine loves spending her free time in the sun, and trying new recipes.
